One person only

I am a 55 year old white female who has been in a relationship for the last 2 years. We got married this past March. Thru a blood test for an insurance he found out he was hiv positive.

Neither one of us has been with anyone else in this time. I was positive that my results would be the same as we have always had unprotected sex. It took 2 weeks for me to get the results. I found out yesterday that I am negative, We have not had sex for the last 7 months due to our living conditions at home with his children moving in with us, so I know it is a true negative. I know he did not cheat since we know where each other is all the time. He contracted the disease right before we were together fom a school teacher who he had unprotected sex with. So it goes to show you you can never tell. He had a complete blood work up at the doctors a few weeks before and they said everything was fine. If you don't ask for an aids test you will not get one. They say 1 in 4 people are walking around HIV positive and don't even know it.

So take it from a very lucky girl here, practice safe sex no matter what. If both of you have been tested and it has been at least 6 months get tested once again then enjoy and stay with one person only.
